Great Lake Taxis

Great Lake Taxis is a taxi and shuttle operator based in Taupō, offering local transport, airport transfers and private tours across the Great Lake district. The company holds an exclusive contract for the Taupō Airport shuttle service, with vehicles waiting outside for each flight and dedicated shuttle parking access.

Beyond airport work, Great Lake Taxis provides conference transportation, sightseeing and out-of-town transfers. It also operates accessible vehicles for wheelchair users and people with disabilities, using Hiace vans fitted with certified equipment. The operator asks that shuttle bookings be arranged directly by email rather than through its online form.

For MICE organisers, Great Lake Taxis is a useful ground-transport partner for meetings and events in Taupō — delegate airport transfers, conference shuttles and small-group sightseeing. Its established airport presence and accessible-vehicle capability make it a dependable choice for organisers needing reliable, inclusive local transport for conference and incentive attendees in the region.
