Minibus Express is a Hamilton-based shuttle and minibus operator. Its published core service is door-to-door airport transport linking Hamilton with Auckland Domestic and International Airport, Hamilton Airport and the Auckland cruise terminals, operating seven days. The company states it services hotels, motels, businesses and residences throughout Hamilton, with greater Waikato pick-ups available on request.
On fleet, the operator describes air-conditioned vehicles with seating for 1 to 18 passengers, and its charters page states it caters for personal charters of up to 11 passengers per vehicle. Total fleet size is not published, and the two capacity figures are stated on different pages of the site rather than reconciled.
For group and delegate movement, the charters page lists corporate and conference transport, transfers to and from business functions and events, cruise-ship group transfers (described as its most common charter request), wedding parties, school and club sports teams, and customised day tours for staff or visiting guests. Status caution for planners. The Minibus Express website carries a notice that from 7 December 2015 the business was owned and operated by Aerolink Shuttles, and that the two companies would merge under the Aerolink name. The successor business of Aerolink's owners records that Aerolink was placed into voluntary liquidation in 2020 following the March 2020 border closure. The Minibus Express site appears not to have been updated since, and its current trading status could not be confirmed from published sources. Conference and incentive planners should verify availability and capacity directly before relying on this operator for delegate transfers.
