Scott's Airport Shuttle

Scott's Airport Shuttle is a New Plymouth door-to-door airport shuttle operator, running transfers between New Plymouth Airport (NPL) and addresses across New Plymouth. It is a family-owned business trading as Scott Shuttles Ltd and has been operating since 2007; Tourism New Zealand's listing describes it as trusted by Taranaki for 19 years. New Plymouth Airport lists it among the shuttle services serving the terminal, and the business is based at Airport Drive.

Fleet and capacity. The published fleet is three air-conditioned 11-seat shuttles, with luggage space that also accommodates bikes and boards. Fixed pricing is charged per booking rather than per person, in capacity bands of 1–5, 6–8 and 9–11 passengers, which gives a practical picture of how the vehicles are configured for group loads. Current rates are published on the operator's own price list.

Group and delegate transfers. Bookings for six or more passengers, multiple pick-up or drop-off points, or destinations outside New Plymouth are handled by quote through the enquiry form or by phone rather than through the standard online booking. With three 11-seat vehicles, the operator is suited to small delegate groups, arrivals and departures staged across a conference programme, and speaker or VIP transfers, rather than large simultaneous movements. Conference shuttle loops and evening function work are not advertised as standard products.

Booking and accessibility. Online booking gives immediate confirmation, with free changes and cancellations, and flights are tracked so pickups adjust to delays. The office is published as operating 8am–6pm, seven days. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles, corporate account facilities and NZTA Passenger Service Licence details are not published; planners with accessibility requirements should confirm directly.

For Taranaki business events, Scott's Airport Shuttle is the region's established dedicated airport shuttle and a straightforward option for moving delegates between NPL and New Plymouth accommodation, with out-of-town and larger group work available by quotation.
