About Advieh

Advieh is a Middle Eastern restaurant and bar on Level 1 of the InterContinental Auckland, at the Queen Street end of the Commercial Bay precinct, with views over the Waitemata Harbour. It is rated 4.6 on Google. Coverage at the time of opening in January 2024 described contemporary, spice-forward Middle Eastern food designed for sharing, with some dishes such as wagyu and duck carved at the table.

Kitchen. Partner chef Gareth Stewart leads the menu; earlier coverage lists his previous work at Soul Bar and Bistro, Jervois Steak House, Euro and Adiamo. Dishes at launch included paua-stuffed dolma, whipped carrot hummus and lamb neck.

Banquets. Sharing banquets have been offered: an Advieh Banquet for two or more guests and a Signature Banquet for four or more. Check the current menu.

Hours. Commercial Bay lists Monday to Friday 6:30am to 11pm and Saturday to Sunday 7am to 11pm. There is a full bar.

Groups. Private dining capacity is not stated on the pages reviewed. Enquire via the restaurant's website. The hotel location suits visiting delegates; see Auckland venues.
