Arikikapakapa Rotorua Golf Club is an 18-hole thermal golf course in Rotorua, distinctive for the geothermal features dotted across its layout. The name Arikikapakapa refers to the gentle sound of plopping mud, and the club celebrated its centenary in 2006.
The clubhouse offers a bar and restaurant with showers and changing facilities, its walls lined with golfing memorabilia. The adjoining Kanuka Café is home to a notable collection of historic golf clubs, some dating to the 19th century. The north-facing function space, with a built-in bar overlooking the course, can seat up to around 100 guests for a formal dinner or about 150 theatre-style, with full-course exclusivity available for larger occasions.
The club hosts corporate golf days, group packages, business-house twilight series and tournaments, and its facilities suit meetings, dinners and functions as well as golf-based incentive activities. A professional golf shop offers club, trundler and cart hire.
For meetings and incentive events combining a function venue with a playable thermal golf course, Arikikapakapa offers a memorable Rotorua option. Discover more Rotorua venues.
