Arrowtown Community Centre is a Queenstown Lakes District Council (QLDC) venue at 10 Centennial Avenue, a short walk along Arrowtown's tree-lined avenue from the gold rush era main street. It is a purpose-built facility opened in 2019 that also serves as a base for local clubs, and it sits beside the Arrowtown rugby field (Jack Reid Park) and domain.
Facilities. QLDC's venue material describes interconnecting flexible spaces that can be configured as three separate rooms or opened up into one large space; a commercial-grade kitchen with under-bench fridge, commercial oven with six-burner gas hob and dishwasher; a licensed bar with dishwasher and two display fridges; a decked area overlooking the rugby field and domain; and free on-site parking. Event-industry listings additionally record a stage, dressing room and in-house AV, and place the centre's capacity in the 200–400 range depending on configuration. QLDC publishes a room-by-room venue guide, and exact capacities and rates should be confirmed with the council venues team.
Suitability. The dividing walls make this one of the more adaptable halls in the district: a plenary in the full room, breakouts in the smaller rooms, catering run from the kitchen and drinks from the licensed bar. It suits small conferences, training days, workshops, community meetings, awards dinners and team offsites, with Arrowtown's cafes and accommodation within walking distance.
