Ashburton RSA

Ashburton RSA is a community club at 12–14 Cox Street in Ashburton, Mid-Canterbury, open to members and to visiting members of affiliated RSA and returned-services clubs from New Zealand and Australia; membership itself is open to anyone over 18, with no military service required.

The club houses 14 gaming machines with a two-stage jackpot, a bar, pool and snooker tables and dart boards, plus Jackson's Bistro, which serves meals Wednesday lunchtime and Thursday and Saturday evenings (5:30–8pm), with takeaway also available. The bistro caters for private functions including weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, conferences and funerals. A courtesy van runs Thursday to Saturday nights.

Weekly activities include 500 cards, social pool, indoor bowls, darts and euchre, plus monthly live entertainment. With its bistro function catering and central Ashburton location, Ashburton RSA offers a practical, community-based option for small conferences, meetings and social functions in the district.
