Beetham Park Motel is a ground-floor, self-contained motel at 297 Ulster Street in Whitiora, just north of the Hamilton city centre and next to Beetham Park itself. Reception is located at Hygate Motor Lodge next door.

Rooms

Accommodation is spread across two main unit types:

• Queen Studio Unit — quiet, north-facing units set back from the road with parking directly outside. Each has a queen and a single bed, a 42-inch TV with over 50 channels, free unlimited Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a full kitchen and a private bathroom. Suits 1–3 guests.
• Two Bedroom Unit — a larger apartment with a full kitchen, separate lounge and dining area, sleeping up to four adults and two children.

A townhouse listed on the site is currently under maintenance.

Facilities

All units are self-contained with fully equipped kitchens, air conditioning and heat pumps, security alarms and free unlimited wireless internet. There is a guest laundry in the building at no charge, free parking outside each unit and reception services. Check-in runs from 2pm to 9.30pm; check-out is 9.30am to 10am.

Location and MICE fit

The motel is within walking distance of Waikato Stadium and close to the city centre, Waterworld and Te Rapa Racecourse. Hamilton Airport is around a 30-minute drive and Auckland International Airport roughly 90 minutes.

There is no meeting or conference room on site. Beetham Park is best suited as delegate or team accommodation — the walk-up proximity to Waikato Stadium makes it practical for sporting groups and event crews, and the spacious self-contained studios with kitchens and free guest laundry suit multi-night business stays. Delegates attending Claudelands Event Centre will need a short drive.
