Butlers Reef is a bar, restaurant and function venue at 1133 Main South Road in Ōakura village, Taranaki, on Surf Highway 45. Its website says it was established in 1865 and has been a gathering place for the village for over 150 years.
The venue serves modern takes on Kiwi classics and traditional pub fare, with a large outdoor area, bar nooks, a traditional restaurant and function spaces suited to a range of occasions.
