Chapel Hill Community Church

Spaces and facilities

The auditorium is the main space, suitable for up to around 320 people, and hire includes use of the projector and speakers run from the in-house sound desk. A number of smaller meeting rooms are also available. Wi-fi and drinking water are provided across all areas.

The church specifically markets the spaces for band practice and rehearsals, singing groups, gigs and live performances, theatre, dance and drama, as well as larger private gatherings.

Suitability for meetings and events

For MICE purposes this is a capable mid-size flat-floor and auditorium venue at community pricing. It suits conferences and seminars for not-for-profit and community-sector organisers, AGMs, training days, workshops with break-out rooms, and presentations where in-house projection and sound cover the AV requirement. The Rototuna location is suburban rather than central, so parking is generally straightforward but delegates staying in the Hamilton CBD will need transport.
