Eddyline Brewery Taproom & Taqueria is at 15 Elms Street, Stoke, Nelson. Beer is brewed on site, and the kitchen serves New Mexican food — tacos and dishes built around genuine New Mexico Hatch chillies, which is an unusual specificity for a New Zealand taproom.
The taproom runs 24 taps and pairs its award-winning beer range with the taqueria menu in a casual, compact setting.
Eddyline comes from kayaking: owners Mic and Molley took the idea of "eddying out" — paddling into the slow, calm water behind an obstruction — as a parallel for stopping into a pub to slow down, mark a win and look ahead.
Eddyline positions itself as one of New Zealand's greenest independent breweries. The brewhouse is all-electric, supported by 68 kW/h of solar generation; fermentation CO₂ is captured and reused; and the brewery has worked to reduce water use in production. For organisers with sustainability criteria in their supplier selection, this is a substantive point of difference rather than a marketing line.
Open Wednesday to Saturday from 11.30am, with closing times varying. Confirm current hours before planning a group visit.
The taproom suits informal team meals, group tastings, incentive and partner-programme stops, and conference free-time activity for groups based in Nelson. Stoke is a short drive from Nelson city. Group capacity, exclusive-use options and tour availability should be confirmed directly with the brewery. Note that Eddyline also operates a separate pizzeria and brewpub at Richmond.
