Greystone is a certified-organic winery, cellar door and restaurant in the Waipara Valley, about an hour north of Christchurch in North Canterbury. The Greystone story began in 2000, when the Thomas family found land in the Omihi Hills, planting thirteen blocks of vines across the Omihi slopes from 2004. The estate is 100% certified organic.
The restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience paired with Greystone's organic wines, built around an ever-changing à la carte menu of local, organic and seasonal produce. A curated four-course Greystone Vineyard Lunch is also offered, sourced from Canterbury suppliers with optional wine pairings.
