Holiday Inn Auckland Airport

Holiday Inn Auckland Airport sits at 2 Ascot Road, Mangere, around 4 kilometres (roughly 5 to 10 minutes) from the international and domestic terminals. The Yellow Bus shuttle, a third-party service, connects the hotel to both terminals, running to the international terminal 24 hours a day; taxis and rideshare are also readily available. The hotel has 251 rooms, including standard rooms with one king or two double beds and one-bedroom suites with a separate lounge and balcony, set around sub-tropical gardens and an outdoor pool.

Meetings and events are a significant part of this hotel's offer, with flexible venues able to host groups from 2 up to 400 people. Its premier space is the Jean Batten Ballroom (364 square metres), which can seat up to 400 theatre-style and splits into three smaller rooms for flexibility. Other named venues include the Richard Pearse Room (180 square metres, up to 100 theatre-style), the Amy Johnson Conference Room (81 square metres, up to 50), the Amelia Earhart Room (which can be used as one 97 square metre space for up to 80, or partitioned into two smaller rooms), the Cockpit Boardroom (up to 20) and the compact Ambassador Boardroom (up to 14). All ground-floor venues benefit from natural light, and the hotel provides free on-site parking for delegates. This range of plenary and breakout spaces, together with garden and poolside areas for informal breaks, makes the property well suited to residential conferences of varying scale, from small corporate meetings through to large conventions or school ball-style functions.

On-site dining includes Vapor Restaurant, serving contemporary New Zealand cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Rumpus Bar, a poolside bar for coffee and drinks. Guests have use of a 24-hour gym and an outdoor pool set amid the gardens.

As part of the IHG-operated Holiday Inn brand, this airport hotel is well positioned for conferences, incentive groups and corporate stays where delegates value straightforward airport access alongside meeting space that can flex from small boardrooms to a 400-capacity ballroom.
