Kerikeri Homestead Motel & Apartments is a boutique four-star-plus motel and apartment complex at 17 Homestead Road, set on three acres of subtropical, park-like grounds in the centre of Kerikeri township. It describes itself as the only fully serviced apartment accommodation right in the centre of Kerikeri, and it is a moment's walk from the town's cafés, restaurants and bars — a strong point for delegate accommodation where people want to walk to dinner.

Corporate and meeting capability

The motel states that meeting the needs of business travellers is central to its operation, and it offers a range of accommodation options for corporate guests along with free unlimited broadband. It notes that the dedicated workstations and generous living areas make it possible to conduct small meetings or display a product range within the apartments.

However, the property does not market a dedicated conference room, function space or published delegate capacities. Its MICE role is therefore delegate, corporate and incentive accommodation rather than a meeting venue — well suited to individual business travellers, project teams on extended stays, small groups needing self-catering and laundry, and organisers needing walkable central Kerikeri beds for delegates meeting elsewhere in town. The apartment layouts also support very small informal client meetings or one-to-one sessions.

Location

Kerikeri Homestead is in the heart of the Bay of Islands, roughly 20 minutes' drive from Paihia and about 3.5 hours north of Auckland Airport, with Kerikeri's historic sites, vineyards and markets close at hand.
