Lake Taupo Lodge is a small luxury lodge in Acacia Bay, Taupō, overlooking Lake Taupō in the central North Island's volcanic region. The lodge is owner-operated and built with an architectural style inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright, set in landscaped grounds with lake and mountain views.
Accommodation is boutique in scale, comprising a handful of suites — including a Premium Lake Suite, Premium Pines Suite, Executive Cherrywood Suite and three further Executive Suites — each with en-suite bathroom, spa bath, walk-in wardrobe and private balcony. Rates include a chef-prepared breakfast and complimentary evening pre-dinner canapés and wine.
Given its intimate size, the lodge does not offer dedicated conference or banquet facilities; it functions as a private retreat rather than a group venue, and is best suited to small executive stays, incentive travel for a handful of guests, or accommodation for delegates attending events elsewhere in Taupō. Larger meetings and conferences in the region are better served by Taupō venues with dedicated function space.
The lodge has an established reputation for guest satisfaction, having been recognised with TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice status in multiple recent years and holding consistently high guest review ratings.
