Marbles Buffet is the buffet restaurant at The Devon Hotel, 390 Devon Street East, New Plymouth. Its website describes a large range of dishes prepared daily, with the menu changing nightly.
The buffet includes fresh seafood and shellfish, a seafood chowder, a daily roast from a carvery station, around a dozen hot dishes, salads, vegetables and breads, home-made desserts with self-serve ice cream, and cheese. The restaurant is listed as open seven nights a week from 5.30pm, with Christmas Day the only lunch service. Published prices at the time of review were $59.90 for adults, $49.90 for seniors with a SuperGold Card, $29.90 for under 16s, $19.90 for under 10s and $9.90 for under 5s. Prices may change.
The website lists private dining in The Gallery (up to 50 people) and The Forum (up to 120 people), and says group bookings are accommodated. Birthday celebrations are catered for, with optional birthday cakes available or guests may bring their own. Pool access is noted as available before dining.
