McKay Stadium (Kensington)

McKay Stadium is an indoor sports and event venue in Kensington Park on Western Hills Drive, Whangārei, managed by Sport Northland and marketed as Northland's premier indoor sports and event venue.

The complex combines indoor courts for basketball and other sports with a climbing wall and dedicated event spaces, including McKay Lounge 1 and 2 (which can be combined as the McKay Whole Lounge) and the McKay Meeting Room, giving it genuine flexibility for functions and meetings alongside sporting fixtures.

Sport Northland, the regional sports trust based at the CDL Group Northland Sports House nearby, manages the facility as part of its wider network of community sport and recreation venues across the region.

For Northland groups wanting to pair a meeting or function with sporting or active elements, McKay Stadium offers combined court, lounge and meeting-room hire in one Whangārei venue.
