Location and activities

Motueka is a practical base for the top of the South Island. From the motel, guests can reach Abel Tasman National Park, Kaiteriteri and Marahau beaches, the Kaiteriteri Mountain Bike Park, Motueka Golf Club and the district's vineyards, with water taxis, kayaking, sailing, skydiving and guided walks all operating locally. The Motueka Sunday Market and the town's seasonal fairs and food events are close by.

Suitability for business events

Nautilus Lodge does not have meeting or conference facilities. Its role in a business-events programme is accommodation: it suits individual corporate travellers working in the Tasman district, delegates and partners staying on either side of an event, and small incentive or reward groups using Motueka as a base for Abel Tasman and Golden Bay activities.
