Peak Functions (also listed as Peak Function Centre) is a purpose-built conference and function venue in Wānaka, centrally located in the township.
The venue was designed around contemporary interiors using local building materials. The main plenary room can be divided into two separate rooms, each with independent heating and cooling — a practical arrangement for running concurrent streams or splitting a plenary into workshop groups without noise bleed or thermostat arguments.
Upstairs there is a large cocktail area opening onto two decks with views across Lake Wānaka and the surrounding mountains.
Every booking receives exclusive use of the centre for the duration of the function. For organisers this removes the risk of a competing event sharing the foyer, the parking or the arrival experience — a meaningful difference from hotel-based conference space.
The combination of a dividable plenary, a separate upstairs cocktail and dining level, and exclusive use makes Peak Functions suited to conferences, incentive programmes, awards dinners, product launches and multi-day corporate retreats in the Wānaka and Queenstown Lakes district.
