Pukekura Function Centre sits at the New Plymouth Raceway, set within manicured grounds bordering the city's Pukekura Park and only minutes from the New Plymouth CBD. It is one of Taranaki's larger dedicated events complexes, offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor spaces on a single site.
The centre provides seven versatile function spaces, including four main lounges plus satellite rooms, which can be hired individually or in combination. The largest indoor space can seat 300 or more guests, while the wider complex, indoors and out, can scale from intimate meetings of around 20 people to large outdoor events of several thousand. Each function area has its own access, bar facilities and amenities for exclusive use.
With more than 750 car parks on site and a mix of meeting rooms, lounges and open grounds, the venue suits conferences, gala dinners, exhibitions, community events and weddings, as well as raceday hospitality. The New Plymouth Raceway hosts a programme of race days across the year, and the surrounding grounds feature in seasonal events around Pukekura Park.
The combination of scale, parking and flexible spaces makes Pukekura Function Centre a strong choice for meetings, conferences and incentive functions in New Plymouth. Explore other New Plymouth venues.
