Scenic Hotel Marlborough

Scenic Hotel Marlborough is a Scenic Hotel Group property on the corner of Alfred and Henry Streets in central Blenheim. It is a short walk from the town's cafés, shops and tasting rooms and within easy reach of Marlborough's vineyards, the Wither Hills, the Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre and the Marlborough Sounds. It is close to Blenheim's convention centre and is often used as delegate accommodation for events held there. It suits business travellers, regional meetings, wine-focused incentive groups and weddings.

The hotel has 54 rooms. These include superior rooms of about 27 m², accessible rooms, and pet-friendly rooms where dogs are welcome. Rooms have air conditioning, a 42-inch TV, a desk and New Zealand-made wool and down bedding. Facilities include:

The hotel has two conference rooms and a bar space for events:

• Marlborough Room: a ground-floor room of 14.5 m × 11.5 m with a built-in sound system. It seats up to 130 theatre-style, 90 banquet or 60 cabaret, and holds 150 for cocktail events.
• Chart Room: 9.5 m × 7 m, opposite the Marlborough Room, with plenty of natural light and doors opening onto the bar and courtyard. It seats up to 40 theatre-style or 30 banquet.
• Savvy Bar: holds up to 20 for casual daytime functions.

Catering is provided on site, and experienced event staff help with planning. The hotel can also help book leisure activities for delegates. It publishes conference and wedding information packs.
