Semola

Semola is an Italian-style bistro and bar in the heart of Orewa on Auckland's Hibiscus Coast, at 1 Moana Avenue on the Hibiscus Coast Highway. It comes from the team behind a group of well-known Auckland restaurants including Cheek n Chong, Tok Tok, Le Viet and Xoong, and takes a seasonal, locally focused approach with a twist.

The kitchen makes its pasta fresh in-house using regional ingredients and dry-ages steaks in-house for tenderness and depth of flavour. The venue also has an adjacent whiskey bar. It serves lunch Friday to Sunday and dinner Tuesday to Sunday, and is consistently well ranked among Orewa restaurants.
