Taupō Golf Club is at 32 Centennial Drive, Taupō, about 2km from the town centre and 5km from Taupō Airport. The club runs two 18-hole courses — Centennial and Tauhara — giving 36 holes on one site, in a mature park setting among thermal activity and under Mt Tauhara. Both courses check in through a single golf shop.

Tourism New Zealand's listing describes Centennial as the club's premier 18-hole track, a pumice-based parkland course with undulating terrain that suits a broad range of abilities. Green fees are listed at $25–$85 for adults and $20 for children aged 13 and under, and the courses operate year-round. The golf shop is open 7.30am–5pm; the administration office runs Monday to Friday, 9am–12pm.

### Function and catering facilities

The clubhouse sits between the two courses and is set up to handle events as well as golf. It has a lounge bar, a dining area and spacious outdoor decking with panoramic views over the course. The club states that catering is an integral part of its facilities and that it caters for members, casual golfers and private function hire alike — social gatherings, weddings, birthdays, corporate functions and general get-togethers — with menus tailored to requirement and sample menus published on request.

Corporate golf day dining is arranged directly with the club's bar and catering manager. The bar carries standard and craft beers, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic options, and social memberships are available for non-golfers. Changing rooms for men and women include lockers and showers, with towels available.

For incentive and corporate programmes, the club also offers practice areas, a driving range and coaching, and golf carts, club hire and trundlers are available. The club has announced The 12th Tee, described as a golf entertainment space built around simulators, as an addition to its offering.

### Practical notes

The location is convenient for delegates — close to town, close to the airport, and on the doorstep of the wider Taupō activity market. Combined with 36 holes on one property, that makes the club a practical base for a corporate golf day paired with a clubhouse lunch or dinner.
