The Maritime Room

The Maritime Room is an events venue on Princes Wharf at Auckland's Viaduct Harbour, inside the NZ Maritime Museum. It has a waterfront outlook over the Waitemata Harbour, next to a private marina, and describes parking nearby as good.

The venue was set up by four event professionals who were looking for a location for Auckland private events. Its website names the directors as Allan, Ben, Michael and Melanie, who are hands-on in areas including facilities and service, cuisine and event planning. Catering is tailored to each event, with food and bar service presented as a key part of the offer.

Capacity figures stated on the website are up to 400 guests at once for large events such as weddings, and a boardroom that seats up to 20 for meetings. The venue also promotes hall hire and Christmas functions.
