The Quay Kitchen (also styled The Quay) is a cafe, restaurant and bar at 31 Quayside in the Whangārei Town Basin, on the Hatea River beside the marina. Its deck and veranda look over the marina.
Food and drink. The venue describes a "gate to plate" approach, sourcing locally and sustainably where possible and citing fish caught by local fishermen in Bream Bay. Separate menus cover brunch, entrees, mains, vegan, takeaway, dessert and bar. The wine list covers New Zealand and international wines, including a wine made in Kerikeri.
Hours. Open seven days from 9am until late.
