The Tauranga Club is a private members' club founded in 1894, now operating from Level 5 of Devonport Towers in central Tauranga with 180-degree harbour views from its Water View restaurant and bar.
The restaurant serves members, their guests and hotel guests from 8:30am Monday to Friday, covering breakfast, lunch and dinner, and can host functions from intimate dinners up to 250 guests. Three dedicated function spaces cater for smaller meetings: the President's Room for small meetings (complimentary for members), The Boardroom seating 16 in boardroom style, and a Seminar Room accommodating 40 to 50 guests theatre- or banquet-style.
Membership is tiered — Individual ($550+GST a year), Business (up to five members, $1,500+GST) and Business Plus (six or more members, $2,500+GST) — and members receive preferential rates at the affiliated Hotel on Devonport (42 suites) plus reciprocal access to partner clubs elsewhere.
