The Venture Centre is a mobile-vendor trading precinct at 250 Spa Road, Tauhara, about five minutes from central Taupō and close to the Taupō Events Centre and AC Baths. It operates primarily as a designated area for mobile shops and food vendors trading in a public place, with vendors needing a Trading in Public Places Approval (and current food registration for food vendors) to operate there, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Alongside the trading spaces, the site has a small number of leasable units at the rear of the property, which are listed for hire through the SpacetoCo booking platform, with a minimum booking of one hour.
Public information available on The Venture Centre is limited, and it functions more as a trading and small-unit hire site than as a dedicated conference or function venue. Groups considering it for an event should confirm current space configuration, capacity and suitability directly with the operator or via SpacetoCo.
