Tudors Restaurant & Bar - also branded Tudors on Papanui - is the in-house restaurant at Scenic Hotel Cotswold, 88 Papanui Road, Merivale, Christchurch. It sits on the left-hand side of the main property entrance off Papanui Road, a few minutes from the central city. Both hotel guests and local diners are welcome, and the restaurant recommends booking in advance.

The kitchen's stated focus is Canterbury and New Zealand produce, with wines from North Canterbury's Waipara region and a philosophy of homemade and home-grown products drawn from an extensive on-site herb and vegetable garden. The restaurant is open seven days for breakfast from 6.30am to 10am and dinner from 5pm to 9pm, with a 24-hour room service menu also available to hotel guests. A daily happy hour runs from 4.30pm to 6.30pm with 15% off any beverage, and no booking is required.

• Marlowe Room (6.2m x 10.6m) - theatre 60, classroom 26, U-shape 25, boardroom 30, cocktail 60, banquet 30. Suited to day meetings, smaller conferences, training and seminars.
• Westminster Room (7m x 19.2m), located directly below Tudors - theatre 100, classroom 50, U-shape 40, boardroom 50, cocktail 150, banquet 80. Suited to larger conferences, trade shows, product launches and medium to large banquets.
• The Royal Suite (3.8m x 7.7m) - boardroom 7, cocktail 15. A small meeting room with an antique boardroom table and leather furniture that can double as accommodation.

The hotel states it can cater for events from small business meetings up to conferences of 150 guests, and publishes a conference and event information pack covering delegate packages, catering and equipment hire. Parking within the property is limited, with nearby side-street parking on Holly Road and Webb Street. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and family friendly. For organisers, the combination of on-site accommodation, function rooms and a restaurant on the same site makes this a workable option for residential meetings and small conferences that want to keep delegates in one place, just outside the CBD in Merivale.
