Vilagrad Winery is a family-owned and operated winery at 702 Rukuhia Road, Ohaupo (Rukuhia), in the Waikato near Hamilton. It is run by Pieter and Nelda Nooyen.
The winery serves Mediterranean-style food, including a buffet at Saturday and Sunday lunches and Mediterranean menus for Christmas parties with live music. Its 2025 Pinot Gris was awarded Gold at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London, according to the winery.
Cellar door hours are Thursday and Friday 9am to 3pm, Saturday 11am to 3pm and Sunday 10am to 4pm, with Tuesday and Wednesday by appointment.
The winery hosts weddings, functions and Christmas parties, with bookings essential. Guest capacities are not published, so group sizes should be confirmed directly.
