The Waipu Celtic Barn is a purpose-built events hall in Waipu, in the Bream Bay area of Northland, set within Caledonian Park. Completed in 2016, it is a modern, multi-purpose facility with park surrounds, used for weddings, community gatherings and larger corporate and community events.
The venue's Main Hall can seat around 400 guests for dinner or up to 600 auditorium-style, with room for a stage, dance floor, head table and guest seating. A smaller, more intimate Lobby space seats roughly 180 auditorium-style or 130 for dinner, and serves as a useful wet-weather option for ceremonies or as an additional catering area for larger functions.
The Celtic Barn provides tables, chairs, linen, crockery, glassware and cutlery, supported by well-equipped kitchen facilities that open out onto Caledonian Park. Its scale and equipment make it suitable for conferences, meetings, awards dinners and exhibitions as well as weddings and celebrations.
