Paintvine is a creative events operator that has been running paint-and-wine style art sessions in New Zealand since 2017. It is headquartered in Auckland and delivers events nationwide, with scheduled public sessions listed for Auckland, Whangarei, Hamilton and greater Waikato, Tauranga and Mount Maunganui, Rotorua, Whakatāne, Gisborne, Hawke's Bay, Taupō, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Wellington, Blenheim, Nelson, Christchurch, Timaru and Dunedin.
### What they run
Sessions are artist-led and pitched at complete beginners. The core format is the Original Paint & Wine night using acrylics on canvas, with a local artist giving step-by-step instruction. Variations include After Dark (glow-in-the-dark), Watercolour, Textured Art, Pop Art, Sculpt, Paint Your Pet, Paint Your Mate, Paint Your Cake, Dragvine and Uncanvased life drawing.
For private and corporate bookings the artist comes to you — a workplace, a private space, or one of Paintvine's partner venues around the country. All materials, aprons and table protection are supplied. Custom artwork can be designed for a specific group or occasion by arrangement in advance.

Paintvine markets a dedicated team building stream and describes hosting everything from small teams through to large corporate groups. It is a natural fit for Auckland team building, social club outings, conference partner programmes, delegate wind-down sessions and end-of-year functions, particularly where an organiser wants a low-barrier activity that does not require physical fitness or prior skill. Because artists travel to the client, sessions can be dropped into a conference venue, hotel function room or office rather than requiring a separate offsite venue — useful when a programme has limited transfer time.
### Practical notes
Pricing excludes food and drink; Paintvine will liaise with its bar and restaurant partners, or clients can self-cater when hosting on their own site. A workplace booking needs tables and chairs for everyone, access to water, and parking information for unloading. A 50% deposit secures the date, with the balance due a week out and final numbers adjustable up to that point. Paint is water based.
