SBI Productions is a Hamilton-based event technical production company specialising in event technical production, video reticulation and event power distribution. Company register listings record S B I Productions Limited as incorporated in July 2002, and directory listings place the business at Raynes Road, Hamilton.
### Three areas of business
The company organises its work into three main areas.
Video and audio production. Live-to-screen video for events, corporate video for business, and television commercials. The team includes camera operators, AV technicians and editors, covering both pre- and post-production.
Event production. A complete technical solution including all equipment and experienced crew. The company covers event design, lighting, sound, AV equipment and live video to screen, working from initial concept through to delivery.
Equipment hire. A hire and install service across video, sound, lighting, power and themeing.
A fourth published area, event lighting and power, sits alongside generator rental, reflecting the power distribution specialisation named in the company's own description.
### Hire inventory
The published equipment hire list covers:
SBI states it is a member of the Total Presentation Solutions Group (TPS), through which it can provide a wider range of technical event equipment and themeing solutions than its own inventory alone. That group membership is relevant for organisers scaling up a large conference or multi-room programme.
### Track record
SBI publishes a list of events it has been involved in, which gives a clear picture of the scale and type of work handled. Named events include the New Zealand National Agricultural Fieldays, Horse of the Year, Equidays, Balloons Over Waikato, Raggamuffin, the Hamilton Gardens Festival Sunset Symphony, Tainui Waka Kapa Haka, the World Rowing Championships, and Super Rugby and test rugby fixtures.
That mix, major agricultural expos, outdoor festivals, cultural performance, and international sporting fixtures, is consistent with the record's markets of conference, corporate, exhibition, festival, concert and live, gala and awards, and sporting events.
### For MICE organisers
SBI is a Waikato-based technical supplier able to cover AV, staging vision, lighting and event power under one contract, including delivery and set-up. The combination of video reticulation and generator capability makes it particularly relevant for outdoor and greenfield conference or exhibition sites where mains power and cabled vision distribution cannot be assumed.
The company does not publish inventory quantities, crew numbers or a service radius, so none are stated here. Organisers should confirm coverage outside the Waikato, crew availability and site power requirements directly.
