Strike Entertainment Centre is a bowling and games venue at 399 Hutt Road, Alicetown, Lower Hutt — a short drive from Wellington's CBD and well placed for Hutt Valley offices. It is open Monday from 12pm and Tuesday to Sunday from 10am, both until late.

### What's on site

The centre has 18 bowling lanes with glow lighting, video screens, music and sport on screen. Alongside the lanes sit Lazer Strike, a laser tag game played in a dark maze with multiple game modes, and an arcade with more than 50 games. There is a bar and kitchen on site, with platters and pizza on the function menus.

### Function packages and capacity

Strike publishes three packaged formats, all requiring 72 hours' notice and a deposit:

• The Fast Lane — one hour of unlimited bowling, one gourmet platter per five people and one drink token per person, at $45 per person with a minimum of 10.
• Let the Good Times Roll — two hours of unlimited bowling, one platter plus one pizza per five people and a drink token, at $60 per person with a minimum of 10.
• The Loft — a private bowling lounge hired for two hours at $1,400, with six lanes of unlimited bowling, two pool tables, and a private bar with a dedicated bartender. Catering is added from $20 per person.

Lanes are allocated at one per six people, which is the practical constraint on group size and pacing. Add-ons include an extra hour of bowling, a game of Lazer Strike, half an hour of unlimited arcade play and extra drink tokens. Final numbers and catering are confirmed 48 hours out. Prices are as published by the venue and should be reconfirmed at the time of booking.

### Suitability for business events

Strike is a practical choice for work functions, end-of-year parties, staff social days and informal team-building where a competitive, low-effort activity is wanted. Invoicing is accepted, which helps for company bookings, and the private Loft lounge gives an exclusive-use option for smaller corporate groups.
