The ENTECH Roadshow brings New Zealand's professional AV, lighting, staging and vision industry together for a single free trade day at Auckland's NZICC on 28 July 2026, opening the event's 10th-anniversary NZ tour.
The ENTECH Roadshow arrives in Auckland on Tuesday 28 July 2026, staged at NZICC (the New Zealand International Convention Centre) with doors open from 9am to 5pm. It is a free-to-trade, single-day exhibition built around 60 stands, live demonstrations and industry keynotes, and it opens ENTECH's 10th-anniversary New Zealand tour before the show rolls on to Wellington and Christchurch.
The pitch is hands-on rather than brochure-led: every major national distributor across pro audio, lighting, staging and vision in one room, on one day, with product you can actually put your hands on.
ENTECH describes itself as Australia and New Zealand's longest-running AV trade roadshow and, now in its 33rd year, an event that visits every major population centre. The 2026 edition is led by ENTECH CEO Kate McKenzie, and the New Zealand legs follow a five-city Australian tour through Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide earlier in the year.
The roadshow is built for working professionals: integrators and AV installers, consultants and designers, production, hire and touring companies, and end users from venues, corporate, education and houses of worship, alongside government and council AV managers.
The day is structured around four strands. The exhibition floor carries the 60 distributor stands. A timetabled Audio Demo Zone lets attendees hear gear in a controlled environment. EnTalks keynote sessions cover emerging trends, compliance and the post-converged AV landscape, pitched as CPD-relevant content. A pre-arranged meetings platform lets visitors lock in one-on-one exhibitor time slots before the day.
Auckland's leg is hosted at NZICC, the New Zealand International Convention Centre, in the central city. As context for delegates, the centre sits in the Auckland CBD within the Sky Tower precinct, close to the Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct hospitality and accommodation, and within easy reach of the city's rail, bus and ferry links at Britomart. Auckland Airport lies south of the city and connects to the centre via the main motorway corridor. These logistics are noted purely as reporting context for those travelling in for the day, not as an endorsement of any transport service.
ENTECH is a rare fixture: a purpose-built trade exhibition that consolidates an entire sector's supply chain into a single day in each main centre. For the New Zealand pro-AV, lighting and production market, the Auckland date is the anchor of the national tour and a concentrated buying-and-specifying moment. Hosting the 10th-anniversary NZ edition at NZICC also underlines the venue's role in the country's returning large-format events calendar.
The same roadshow continues to Lower Hutt Events Centre in Wellington on Thursday 30 July and to Te Pae Christchurch on Monday 4 August 2026.
