Marquees, furniture, staging, lighting and event kit for hire in Dunedin and Otago — the operators MICE lists.
From marquees and furniture to staging, lighting and AV, most conferences and functions need kit the venue doesn't supply. MICE lists ten event equipment and hire companies serving Dunedin and Otago, covering everything from full marquee builds to tableware and technical production.
For outdoor functions, gala dinners and pop-up event spaces, marquee and stretch-tent specialists include Continental Event Hire (part of Hirepool), Stretch Tents Southland and Swell Event Hire. These operators handle structures, flooring, walls and weather cover — essential for Otago's variable conditions.
For seating, tables, linen, crockery and styling pieces, Party Plus, MKT Party Hire, The Little Hire Company, Four Folk and Nicholls & Co supply the front-of-house kit that dresses a conference dinner or breakout space.
For technical production — screens, sound and lighting — Video Tech and Encore Events cover the AV and staging end, complementing a venue's built-in systems for larger plenary sessions.
