306 Motel Apartments

About this place

306 Motel Apartments is a serviced motel and apartment property at 306 Riccarton Road, Upper Riccarton, Christchurch. It has previously traded as ASURE 306 on Riccarton Motel and is still listed under that name on some booking channels. The site is on the main Riccarton Road corridor, one of the city's busiest accommodation and hospitality strips.

### The offer

Accommodation is arranged as studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, all self-contained with kitchen facilities. Units are double glazed and fitted with heating and electric blankets; most have heat pumps or air-conditioning, and some include spa baths. In-room entertainment covers 50-plus SKY channels including movie and sport, with free unlimited WiFi throughout. Guest facilities include laundry, free parking, express check-out, and two outdoor areas including a barbecue area. Breakfast is available. The property markets itself on an environmentally conscious approach alongside its modern fit-out.

### Location

The motel is a short walk from the University of Canterbury, around a three-minute drive from both Riccarton and Addington racecourses, roughly seven minutes from Christchurch International Airport, and about ten minutes from Westfield Riccarton and the Christchurch railway station. That places it within easy reach of Wolfbrook Arena and Apollo Projects Stadium in Addington, and of the western approach to the CBD.

### Meetings and events

No dedicated conference or meeting rooms are published for this property. It is an accommodation-led listing.

### Suitability

306 Motel Apartments works as a delegate accommodation block rather than a venue: self-contained units suit longer stays, extended project teams and delegates who want kitchen facilities, while the two-bedroom units allow shared or family accommodation. Its position near the university and the Addington event precinct makes it a practical option for academic conferences, sporting and event groups, and training programmes running elsewhere in the city. Pair it with a nearby conference site from the Christchurch venues listings.
