Accent on Taupo Motor Lodge is located at 310 Lake Terrace in Two Mile Bay, directly across the road from Lake Taupo and a safe swimming beach, about four minutes' drive from the town centre. A four-hectare public reserve backs the property, with direct access to the Lions walking and cycling track.

Accommodation is self-contained and includes studio, small studio, one-bedroom apartment and cottage-style units, most with sunny decks overlooking the lake, along with a larger Lakehouse Villa suited to bigger groups. On-site facilities include a hot tub/spa room and bike hire; a café/bar with kayak and sailboard rental sits directly across the road, and an English-style pub restaurant is about 500 metres away.

For meetings, the property's Lakehouse includes a small conference room catering for up to about 25 people, making the lodge suitable for small corporate meetings or training sessions alongside its accommodation, though it is not set up for larger conferences. It has also hosted schools and sports groups, with extra equipment available on request.
