AQUA is a Japanese restaurant at 112 Main Street, Methven, in the Ashburton district. It serves izakaya-style Japanese food in a relaxed, friendly setting, and its website states the restaurant has been operating for 22 years.
The venue offers bookings and online ordering through its website. The website does not give seating capacity, opening hours in the material reviewed, or details of private dining or function options, so these should be confirmed directly with the restaurant.
Izakaya-style dining, with its shared-dish format, generally suits group meals, and AQUA is a practical option for small to medium teams or groups staying in Methven who want a casual dinner. Group size limits and any set-menu arrangements should be checked in advance.
