Atrium at Tribune is a contemporary event and function venue within the Tribune precinct at 203 Queen Street East, on the eastern edge of the Hastings CBD in Hawke's Bay. The precinct occupies a revitalised heritage building that was formerly home to the regional newspaper *Hawke's Bay Today*, and the event spaces are set within the site's old printing warehouse. The precinct is accessed from Queen Street and Karamu Road.
Two distinct hire spaces are offered:
The combination of a high-volume indoor room and a walled outdoor area on the same site gives organisers a wet-weather option and a natural break-out or pre-function area, which is useful for day conferences that finish with drinks.
The venue is promoted for corporate events, conferences, workshops, seminars, presentations, awards ceremonies and PR or brand launches, as well as weddings and private functions. The design approach across the precinct combines raw industrial materials with contemporary fit-out, so the rooms suit events that want an urban, unfussy backdrop rather than a hotel ballroom look.
Accessibility is catered for, with a wheelchair-accessible car park and entrance.
Atrium at Tribune is best suited to mid-sized conferences, product launches, awards evenings and corporate cocktail functions in the 100–250 guest range. Its inner-Hastings location puts delegates within reach of CBD accommodation, hospitality and the wider Hawke's Bay wine country, making it a practical base for conference and incentive programmes.
