Belt Road Seaside Holiday Park sits at 2 Belt Road in Moturoa, on the western edge of New Plymouth, overlooking the Coastal Walkway with views across the Tasman Sea and Port Taranaki. It is within walking distance of the city, and the Coastal Walkway runs past the property.

Accommodation covers a wide range. There are deluxe waterfront motels, two-bedroom motels and motel studios; self-contained family units, one-bedroom units and studios; ensuite cabins; standard two, three and four-berth cabins; and oceanview, powered and unpowered sites. That spread is useful for a group with mixed budgets, keeping everyone on one site.

Shared facilities include three communal kitchen and dining rooms with ovens, hobs, microwaves, fridges, freezers and BBQs, a large TV lounge with Sky, two free barbecues, four facility blocks with toilets and showers including family and accessible bathrooms with unlimited hot water, laundries in two blocks, spa pools, and a dump station. WiFi runs throughout the park with complimentary vouchers for each guest.

The meeting space is the Breakwater Lounge, which looks out over the Tasman Sea. It seats up to 20 and comes with air conditioning, a large whiteboard, a data projector and a 50-inch TV, plus tea, coffee, plates and cutlery. Guests bring their own food and drink, and there is a large kitchen alongside for self-catering. The lounge has wheelchair access.

The park holds a Qualmark 4 Star Plus rating and a Qualmark Gold Sustainable Tourism Business Award, and offers both group booking arrangements and corporate rates.

For business events, Belt Road works as a small offsite venue rather than a conference centre: a strategy day, a board meeting, a training session or a team-building retreat for up to 20 people, with accommodation and self-catering in the same place and a sea view out the window. The Coastal Walkway on the doorstep makes an easy team activity or morning session break. Groups larger than 20 will need to look at other New Plymouth venues for the meeting itself while still using the park for accommodation.
