Black Barn Bistro is the restaurant at Black Barn Vineyards, set on the north-facing slopes of the Havelock Hills at 34 Black Barn Road, Havelock North. The vineyard describes itself as a cornerstone of Hawke's Bay's wine, food and hospitality scene for over 20 years.
### Dining
The Bistro serves seasonal dishes built around Hawke's Bay produce, matched with the estate's wines. It offers lunch and dinner, and guests can also drop in for drinks at the bar. The vineyard's limited-release wines, made by winemaker Dave McKee, are sold through the cellar door, the Bistro and online.
### Functions and events
Black Barn hosts weddings, corporate functions and private gatherings, and it also has a 2,000-seat amphitheatre used for concerts, festivals and other events. Room-by-room capacities for the Bistro itself are not published on the pages reviewed, so confirm numbers and packages with the venue.
