Black Barn Vineyards

Black Barn Vineyards is a winery, restaurant and event venue at 34 Black Barn Road, Havelock North, on the north-facing slopes of the Havelock Hills in Hawke's Bay. The business has operated for over 20 years.

Wine and dining

Limited-release wines made by winemaker Dave McKee are sold through the cellar door, the Bistro and the website. The Bistro serves seasonal, locally sourced dishes for lunch, dinner or drinks at the bar.

Accommodation

The website lists 15 self-contained luxury retreats rated Qualmark Gold, located within about a 30-minute drive of the vineyard. Our records show 17 rooms, so confirm current numbers with the venue.

Events

The vineyard has a 2,000-seat amphitheatre used for concerts and festivals, and venues for weddings, corporate functions and private events in vineyard settings. Room-level capacities are not published on the main page.
