Cherry Court Motor Lodge

Cherry Court Motor Lodge sits at 35 Otaika Rd (State Highway 1) in Woodhill, at the southern entrance to Whangārei. The lodge has 15 refurbished, self-contained units, all non-smoking and all with air conditioning, and it is one of the few Whangārei motels with its own conference room.

Meetings and conferences

The conference and meeting room seats up to 15 theatre-style and is housed in a separate building from the accommodation, which keeps meetings apart from the guest wing. The lodge positions it for small conferences, meetings, arbitrations and product demonstrations. Full catering can be arranged, along with a selection of conference equipment, and accommodation for delegates and presenters is on the same site with ample off-street parking. Location

The city centre is a flat 15-minute walk (about two minutes by car), which also puts the Whangārei bus depot and Forum North Convention Centre within easy reach. Whangārei Hospital, NorthTec and the Whangārei i-SITE and tourist coach stop are each about 10 minutes on foot. Kensington Stadium, the international hockey turf, ITB Rugby Stadium and Whangārei Cricket Stadium are a five-minute drive. Being on SH1 also makes it a practical stop for groups travelling on to the Bay of Islands, or west on SH14 towards Dargaville.
