Kazaguruma is a modern Japanese dining restaurant at 272 Cuba Street in Te Aro, central Wellington, specialising in course-style meals and premium A5 wagyu beef. It is regarded as one of the city's leading destinations for Japanese cuisine.
The menu spans Japanese classics such as sashimi, sushi, tempura, teriyaki and wagyu sukiyaki, alongside original dishes that blend Asian and European technique. An omakase experience pairs New Zealand kaimoana (seafood) with premium Japanese ingredients including A5 wagyu from Kagoshima, and desserts are served with a choice of Japanese herbal teas. The drinks list runs to premium Japanese whisky, sake, shochu and umeshu, plus local and international wines.
