Kepler Restaurant is at 90 Town Centre, Te Anau, in Southland, close to Lake Te Anau and Fiordland National Park. Its website describes South American-influenced New Zealand cooking, with seafood, Patagonian BBQ lamb, New Zealand lamb and venison.
The restaurant began in smaller premises, reopened in 2014 and moved to an expanded site in 2017 after major renovations, including a Patagonia fire pit. It is owned by Eduardo Zamora, who is also head chef. The website says he is a Chilean-trained cook who moved to New Zealand in 2007 with his wife Soledad and family.
