Polynesian Spa is a geothermal bathing and day-spa facility at 1000 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua, on the shore of Lake Rotorua. The spa states that it has operated since 1878.
### Pools and treatments
The spa describes 28 pools in total, fed by two natural springs: Priest Spring, which is acidic, and Rachel Spring, which is alkaline. Areas include family pools (freshwater with a hydroslide, plus warm mineral pools), adult-only Pavilion Pools (12 years and over) with a reflexology walk, the Deluxe Lake Spa with five pools, a cold plunge, heated recliners and lake views, and private Lake View and Sky View pools.
