Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre is a purpose-built community facility on the corner of Main Road and Songer Street in Stoke, opposite the main Stoke retail area and bordering Greenmeadows Park. It is part of the Nelson City Council venues portfolio and was built to give Stoke a hub for meeting, learning, socialising and sport. It is home to Stoke Tennis, Stoke Rugby and Stoke Seniors.
The building was designed by Jerram Tocker Barron Architects. Its elongated form connects the upper level to the adjacent raised playing fields, with the rest of the building sweeping down to a café and meeting rooms. A concourse runs the length of the building to a level car park, giving step-free access to all facilities and an overflow area for events. The centre is about 10 minutes' drive from Nelson, Richmond and Nelson Airport.
Rooms are named for native birds. Published capacities are:

The overall venue capacity is listed as 260. Enquiries about the Kārearea Room are directed to Stoke Rugby rather than the centre. Floor plans for both the upper and lower levels are published on the venue's page.
The centre lists an audio visual system, projection equipment, staging risers, Wi-Fi, catering, an events office and a ticket desk. Equipment can be brought in through double doors. There are four changing rooms, 24 showers, 24 bike parks and five mobility scooter parks, and the venue is wheelchair accessible. All facilities are smoke-free. Venue hire prices are published in the Nelson City Council fees and charges schedule, and bookings are made through the centre's enquiry form or by phoning the centre directly.
Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre is listed by the council for conferences, dinners, functions, meetings, weddings, community events and sport. The mix of room sizes makes it workable for a full conference day: Tūī as the plenary and banquet room, Kererū or Kārearea as a second stream or catering space, and the smaller rooms for breakouts or an organiser's office. Commercial kitchens, in-built AV, a ticket desk and level parking mean most of the logistical basics are already on site. Its position on the main road through Stoke, midway between Nelson and Richmond and close to the airport, suits regional and day-delegate events where ease of access matters more than a city-centre address.
