Ramblers Rest Backpacker Hostel is a long-running budget hostel in central Ashburton, Mid Canterbury, at 245 Tancred Street (reception next door at 247). It has provided accommodation for backpackers, travellers and working-holiday guests since 2007, within easy walking distance of the bus stop, information centre, restaurants and town amenities.
