SOHO Auckland Hotel

SOHO Hotel Auckland is an art deco-inspired hotel at 180 Stoddard Road in Mount Roskill, beside Puketāpapa. The hotel says it is about 15 minutes' drive from the CBD and about 20 minutes from Auckland Airport. Its suburban position between the city and the airport, with on-site parking, suits conferences, weddings and business travellers who want to avoid CBD traffic. The hotel is managed by Capstone Hotel Management and describes itself as 100% New Zealand owned and operated.

Rooms and facilities

The hotel has 126 rooms and suites, including Deluxe, Superior, Suite, Spa Suite and Apartment categories. There is a fitness centre and on-site parking. A planned wellness facility, The Spa X SOHO, is due to open in late 2027 and is set to include seven treatment rooms, a sauna, an onsen pool, an outdoor meditation deck and a yoga space.

Meetings and events

The main conference room holds up to 200 delegates and suits large events. It is complemented by a glass-walled seminar room at the front of the hotel and a smaller meeting room for breakouts or private board meetings. Catering is in-house, and a day delegate package is available. The hotel also markets its spaces for weddings, including Indian weddings.

Dining and bars

Tiger Bar & Restaurant serves Asian-fusion dishes and welcomes non-resident diners. The hotel also has an in-house bar and a rooftop bar for pre-dinner drinks and networking.

Recognition

The hotel displays a Qualmark Silver Plus rating and states that it won Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice awards in 2025 and 2026.

SOHO Hotel Auckland suits conferences and seminars of up to about 200, training days, weddings and celebrations. Its location between the city and the airport also makes it convenient for groups travelling in from outside Auckland.
