Stratosfare Restaurant & Bar is part of the Skyline Queenstown complex on Bob's Peak, reached by the Skyline Gondola, a 480 m ascent above Lake Wakatipu. The venue looks across Queenstown, the lake and the Remarkables, with sunset panoramas a feature highlighted by Skyline.
Skyline describes the restaurant as featuring New Zealand produce, with an open kitchen where a chef flame-grills food. Gondola and buffet lunch and dinner packages are sold through third-party booking sites, and Skyline also promotes catering for events.
Skyline's venues page does not list capacities for the current venues. It does announce a new purpose-built event space, due in 2029, of 535 square metres with flexible layouts, designed for anything from cocktail events of up to 700 guests to smaller gatherings.
